The goal of the monthly newsletter is to keep stakeholders up to date about program changes and deadlines. The newsletter has three main content areas:
Need to Do, which will alert stakeholders to information and requirements for successful program participation, such as upcoming deadlines.
In Other News, which will share other program-related news, such as upcoming industry webinars or conferences.
In the Pipeline, which will provide a longer-term view of upcoming key program dates.
All newsletters are archived in the "Newsletters" section of the IHA website, so you can easily find and share the latest program information.
A Note on COVID-19
Like you, IHA is carefully monitoring the spread of COVID-19. Our current priorities are protecting our employees' health and supporting our stakeholders while we adapt to their shifting priorities. We are currently re-evaluating our program timelines and deliverables — and plan to assess the impact of COVID-19 on our collective work over the coming months so we can create a plan to address it.
Please visit our dedicated COVID-19 webpage for the latest information on IHA's response to the pandemic, including answers to AMP program FAQs. If you have any specific questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact your AMP Client Success Manager or email amp@iha.org.
The industry is on the forefront of a response, and we hope that our stakeholder organizations and their employees remain safe and healthy.
Submit Your Test AMP Results Files to TransUnion by May 4
Health plans and self-reporting POs can submit test versions of MY 2019 AMP results files to TransUnion through May 4, 2020. Instructions for submitting your files are in tab 1 of your data file layout. Your test files must pass before you can provide your final AMP results, so we encourage you to send them early!
Onpoint, our data integration and analytics partner for the AMP programs and Atlas, interviewed our CEO Jeff Rideout, MD, last month. Read the article to learn more about the challenges we’re facing as we try to standardize healthcare data reporting in California.
In the Pipeline
Self-Reporting PO Review Period: April 17–30
If you are a physician organization that chooses to self-report AMP results, please review your submissions carefully before sending. Make sure you’ve included all the measures you’ve chosen to report (including e-measures) and double-checked your data for accuracy.
We’re dedicated to giving you accurate results, but unfortunately, we can’t accept results appeals caused by PO self-reporting errors. Thank you in advance for taking the extra time to validate your self-reported results!
