Submit test files to FinThrive Healthcare starting March 20

All provider organizations (POs) and health plans need to submit test versions of their MY 2022 AMP results to FinThrive Healthcare during the March 20 - April 24 testing period. FinThrive Healthcare must approve your test files during this time before you can submit your final AMP results. Submissions should be sent via email to AMP@finthrive.com.

To prepare for the upcoming testing period, make sure your organization follows the instructions included in the appropriate MY 2022 data file layout. All data file layouts are available on the AMP Data Collection, Submission, and Audit Resources page on the IHA website.

The detailed MY 2022 data submission timeline is available on pages 12-13 of the AMP Program Guide.

Note: There are three testing measures included in the MY 2022 data file layouts: Kidney Health Evaluation in Patients with Diabetes (KED), Prenatal Immunization Status (PRS-E), and Child and Adolescent Well-Care Visits (WCV). Here is where the test measures are located within the different data file layouts.

1. Final Testing Measure Data File Layout: KED and PRS-E

2. Final Audited Quality Data File Layout: WCV

• Because WCV is new to the AMP Commercial HMO measure set but already included in AMP Medi-Cal Managed Care, it can be found in the ‘Audited Quality Clinical Measures’ data file layout.
• WCV data submitted for the AMP HMO program does not need to be audited (see ‘Audited’ column [Y/N] in tab 5 "Sample HP/PO File”). However, WCV data submitted for the AMP Medi-Cal program needs to be audited.

AMP Medicare Advantage Awards

Our AMP Medicare Advantage program uses standard measurement to promote healthcare quality in Medicare Advantage, providing participating provider organizations (POs) with aggregated performance data. We use national benchmarks established by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services Star Ratings program to help POs understand how they’re performing compared to the market and their peers.

We’re excited to recognize the POs that earned 4.5- and 5-star quality ratings, as well as the POs that improved their star rating compared to the previous measurement year.

In MY 2021:

4 POs earned an overall 5-star rating.

43 POs earned an overall 4.5-star rating.

15 POs improved their overall star rating by at least ½ a star from MY 2020 to MY 2021.

Submit comments during HEDIS® Public Comment Period by March 13

The HEDIS® Public Comment Period is open until March 13. Along with our partners at NCQA, we invite AMP participants to comment on new measures, changes to existing measures, and proposed measure retirements for HEDIS® MY 2024. Upcoming audited quality data submission deadlines

Once your test files have been approved by FinThrive Healthcare, Inc., please turn your attention to the following milestones:

April 17-24: Review your submissions

Self-reporting POs: review your submissions carefully before sending. Make sure you’ve included all the measures you’ve chosen to report (including e-Measures) and double-check your data for accuracy.

Note: IHA will not accept requests for appeal of corrections to a PO’s self-reported data during the appeals process. Please review your organization’s submission of self-reported results to ensure it is complete and correct before sending it to your auditor and to FinThrive Healthcare, Inc.

April 24: Send your data to your auditor

Health plans and self-reporting POs: send your data files to auditors for review before final submission to FinThrive Healthcare. No audit is required for POs submitting Advanced Care Information e-Measures for the AMP Commercial HMO program.

May 5: Submit your data to FinThrive Healthcare Inc.

• POs who only submit e-Measures for use in AMP Commercial HMO: submit your data files to FinThrive Healthcare
