Preliminary results release date updated from 8/10 to 8/17
This year, IHA and our AMP data partners implemented multiple process improvements further upstream to support more complete and accurate AMP results. These new improvements have been effective and have also led to many health plan resubmissions earlier in the AMP timeline.
To accommodate these planned process improvements and resubmissions, we’ve updated the Measurement Year (MY) 2020 Onpoint-generated preliminary results date from Aug. 10 to Aug. 17. Participants will still have 3 weeks to review and submit questions and appeals between Aug.17 to Sept. 8, so please allocate resources accordingly. Assuming no additional plan resubmissions, this change will not impact the Oct. 15 final results release timeline and programmatic deliverables for awards, public reporting, and incentive design modeling (e.g. Plan Plug and Play and PO Worksheets).
To align with the preliminary Onpoint-generated release, IHA will also release the MY 2020 Final Audited Quality Report on August 17th. Please email amp@iha.org if you have any questions.
Update your AMP Analytics Portal contacts today!
Keeping your organizations contacts up-to-date on the AMP Analytics Portal is how to ensure your team receives AMP results, program communications, and health plan incentive payment updates. Any new users will not have access to any information on the AMP Analytics Portal until they are added as a contact for your organization.
Your organization’s primary contact is responsible for managing portal access, including updating contacts on behalf of your organization. If you are the primary contact at your organization, follow these easy steps to update your portal contacts today.
To add contacts:
Click the "Add Contacts" button
Search for the contact you want to add by typing in their email address using all lowercase letters Note: The contact you are trying to add must already have an account. Staff can create a new account using this online form. Be sure they click on the activation email to complete account setup so you can add them as a contact.
Click "Add"
To remove contacts:
Find the contact that you want to remove
Click on the red “x” to the right of the contact’s email address
To change a primary contact: There can only be one primary contact per organization. As the current primary contact, only you can designate someone else as the new primary contact. To make the change:
Identify the contact you want to designate as the primary contact
Click on the yellow star to the right of the contact’s email address

AMP Participant Spotlight
Cedars-Sinai Medical Care Foundation
Cedars-Sinai has ambitious goals to tackle important clinical challenges, including improving cancer screening rates and medication adherence, and better managing chronic disease. Participating in AMP gives the organization reliable performance benchmarks to uncover improvement opportunities and see where the organization excels.
“We are fans of the model that IHA has created,” says Caroline Goldzweig, M.D., chief medical officer for Cedars-Sinai Medical Care Foundation. “It’s really hard when you have multiple interpretations of quality because you can’t move in 10 different directions. The AMP program’s consensus-building approach makes it easier to focus on the most important measures and push our performance higher.”
To meet its performance improvement goals, Cedars-Sinai has embarked on a transformation of its primary care services to enhance efficiencies, collaborate more closely as a team, and standardize care processes. Efforts include maximizing touchpoints with patients through EHR patient portal messages, text messaging, and other targeted outreach. As part of its primary care transformation, the organization is launching a new project aimed at reaching patients with uncontrolled blood pressure. When these patients show up for specialty appointments, the initiative will identify and guide them to their primary care physicians to manage their hypertension.
Cedars-Sinai produces monthly report cards to show physicians how they’re performing on key AMP measures and how their performance compares to their colleagues. “We set our performance goals to reach the 75th percentile based on AMP data,” adds Dr. Goldzweig. “IHA sets the threshold for us and we track our performance carefully. AMP is the most reliable measurement tool we have in our environment.”
