MY 2022 Questions and Appeals

The MY 2022 Questions and Appeals period is currently underway. During this time, we ask provider organizations and health plans to review their MY 2022 preliminary results and check for possible errors. We encourage you to submit questions or appeals early to give IHA and partners enough time to thoroughly investigate your submission.

As a reminder, we released the AMP MY 2022 preliminary results on the Onpoint Performance Reporting Portal (PRP); we also used the PRP to release refreshed MY 2021 results. Historical AMP results (prior to MY 2021) are available in the AMP Analytics Portal.

Important dates and activities:

This Friday, 9/8: Last day to submit appeals for Onpoint and PBGH Pipelines.

9/15: Last day to finalize any documentation related to questions and appeals.

9/20: Appeals hearing.

9/27: Appeals decisions communicated to participants.

10/31: Final MY 2022 results released to participants.

How to submit an appeal or question:

  • Review the following resources: Submission Guide, Roles and Responsibilities, and Best Practices and FAQs.
  • Identify the organization name and ID, measure rates in question and applicable product lines and health plans, as well as any rationale and documentation to substantiate the claim.
  • Email the identified information using our Submission Form to appeals@iha.org by September 8, 2023, 5 p.m. PDT for PBGH and Onpoint-generated measures.

Breast Cancer Screening (BCS-E) training webinar

On July 17, IHA hosted a NCQA-led training webinar on the Breast Cancer Screening measure’s transition to Electronic Clinical Data System (ECDS)-only reporting in MY 2023. A recording of the webinar, slides, and a transcript of participant questions answered during the event are now available on iha.org.

We encourage AMP participants who want to learn more about ECDS to review the three-part technical training series hosted by IHA last summer. We hope these resources help our AMP participants as NCQA transitions existing AMP measures to ECDS-only reporting in the coming measurement years.
