MY 2022 PAS registration for providers is now open
The Patient Assessment Survey (PAS) registration period for provider organizations opens today, October 10. If you are interested in receiving AMP Patient Experience domain results, you must sign up for PAS with the Purchaser Business Group on Health (PBGH). Provider organizations should have received an email from PBGH with detailed information on how to sign up the week of September 19.
Provider organizations can use the CSS portal link to access an internal registration menu during the registration period. For questions related to PAS registration, please reach out to Valerie Kong (vkong@pbgh.org) and/or Jeff Burkeen (jburkeen@cssresearch.org).
Coming soon: Complete your Pre-Participation Confirmation Survey
POs and health plan primary contacts will receive a Pre-Participation Confirmation survey on Monday, October 17 to be completed by Wednesday, October 26.Completing this survey is key to a successful Participation Confirmation Period for your organization and ensures the proper setup for all your information in AMP.
Provider Organizations:
The Pre-Participation Confirmation survey will be available on the AMP Analytics Portal
On October 17, AMP staff will share instructions on how to complete Pre-Participation Confirmation on the AMP Analytics Portal via email (ampparticipation@iha.org)
Health Plans:
Health plans will receive their Pre-Participation Confirmation survey via email from their AMP Client Success Manager

Introducing IHA’s Encounter Data Resource Hub
We’re pleased to announce a new platform to help you improve encounter data quality - the Encounter Data Resource Hub. In the hub you’ll find guidance and best practices to help providers, health plans, and other stakeholders accelerate improvement efforts. IHA and our partners are continually developing and gathering new tools and content, so be sure to check the hub regularly for new information.
The resource hub is part of the Encounter Data Improvement Program, a statewide initiative led by Health Net, the Department of Managed Health Care, and other collaborators to improve encounter data quality in California. Reliable encounter data is critical for tracking healthcare quality and costs, monitoring population health trends, identifying deficiencies or gaps in care, and determining provider payment rates. As the Encounter Data Governance Entity (EDGE), IHA is coordinating improvements to how this important data is collected, reported, and used, and the resource hub is a key part of the initiative.
Confirm your MY 2022 participation starting November 9
It’s almost time for you to confirm your participation in the AMP program for the upcoming MY 2022! During the Participation Confirmation Period, you’ll be asked to make updates and confirm health plan contracts, organizational profiles, and more within the AMP Analytics Portal.
Participation Confirmation kicks off on November 9. Please join our webinars for more information on how to successfully complete this process. A calendar invite will be forthcoming, but feel free to register in advance.
