Last year, IHA’s Program Governance Committee approved updates for the MY 2022-2023 incentive design methodology. These updates includ:
Introducing enhancements, including higher Quality Gate, recalibrated Quality Multiplier (shared risk incentive design only), and updated Total Cost of Care Adjuster (full risk incentive design only).
Adjusting how the Quality Composite Score (QCS) is calculated for Commercial HMO POs following the removal of the Advancing Care Information (ACI) domain.
Health Plans: Review MY 2023 Enhanced Validation Report (EVR) II and Cost EVR
EVR is an essential part of IHA’s holistic approach to data quality to help catch data quality issues further upstream. EVR provides plans a glimpse into trends in claims data. Please feel free to reach out to Onpoint and/or the AMP Client Success Manager if you have any questions or concerns.
June 12-17:
EVR II: Onpoint will email health plans the EVR II report with instructions for review, if applicable. Sign off is required by June 28.
Cost EVR: Onpoint will email health plans instructions for review and sign off of the Cost EVR report on June 14th. Sign off of Cost EVR and any applicable cost file resubmissions must be in validation pass by June 28.
Please note, all MY 2023 data should be in validation pass no later than June 28 to ensure the data is included in AMP Preliminary Results release. Variance fees may be incurred if data is not in validation pass by June 28, 2024.

Health Plans: MY 2024 Data Submission Guide 8.1 is now available
IHA released updates to the MY 2024 Data Submission Guide (DSG) 8.0, found in the MY 2024 DSG 8.1, now available on the IHA website. Included updates are meant to ensure data submission to Onpoint are aligned with national level data requirements for standardization. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact your AMP Client Success Manager and/or amp@iha.org.
Note: The anticipated MY 2024 DSG changes only impact MY 2024 data submission starting with Q2 2024 data submission to Onpoint due 7/31/24 and beyond.
