Each year, provider organizations (POs) and health plans use a standard data file layout to submit their quality results to TransUnion. The final versions for MY 2021 are now available for AMP participants.
By downloading your MY 2021 data file layout today, your organization can begin preparing your clinical quality and/or Advanced Care Information (ACI) e-Measure results for successful submission through the TransUnion data pathway.
Thank you to our AMP participants and partners who joined us last month for our MY 2021 AMP Updates Webinar. Along with our guest panelists from NCQA, we covered AMP technical specifications, measure sets, participant resources, and upcoming deadlines for data collection and reporting.
Our AMP Medicare Advantage program uses standard measurement to promote healthcare quality in Medicare Advantage, providing participating provider organizations (POs) with aggregated performance data. We use national benchmarks established by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services Star Ratings program to help POs understand how they’re performing compared to the market and their peers.
We’re excited to recognize the POs that earned 4.5- and 5-star quality ratings, as well as the POs that improved their star rating compared to the previous measurement year.
In MY 2020:
12 POs earned an overall 5-star rating.
49 POs earned an overall 4.5-star rating.
26 POs improved their overall star rating by at least ½ a star from MY 2019 to MY 2020.

TransUnion begins accepting test files on March 21
POs and health plans have between March 21 and April 25, 2022 to submit test versions of MY 2021 AMP results to TransUnion.
Whether you're a health plan or self-reporting PO submitting audited quality results, or you're a non-self-reporting PO submitting Advanced Care Information e-Measure results only, use the instructions in your Data File Layout to ensure your organization is ready to begin file testing next month.
TransUnion must approve your test files before you can submit your final AMP results, so we encourage you to begin preparing now for the upcoming testing period. Please see pages 12-13 of the AMP Program Guidefor the detailed MY 2021 data submission timeline.
